Hampo 003-0606 is a 1080P full HD USB 2.0 camera module featuring on Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and night vision IR-Cut(which could auto switch day and night modes), widely used for security monitoring, access control system, face recognition system etc.
The camera is based on 1/2.7" AR0230 CMOS image sensor with advance 3.0µm pixel BSI technology from ON Semiconductor. It has S-mount (M12) lens holder which allows customers to choose and use the lens according to their requirement.The max wide dynamic range up to 96dB.
Key Features:
Day/Night Vision: Embedded removable IR-CUT filter, eliminating color distortion in the daylight. In night mode, the inside filter will remove, hence allowing unnatural lights (ie.,Infrared) enter into image sensor to enhance low illumination performance. In day mode, the inside filter will be inserted between lens and image sensor to filter unnatural lights enter into image sensor, therefore to provide true color reproduction crisp images. 1080P HD

How does an IR-cut filter work?
Generally, an IR-cut filter is placed between the image sensors and the lens. This filter is controlled by a motor or with the help of an electromagnet. When the IR filter is turned on during the daytime, it helps to block IR - letting only the visible light pass through. This process is known as True Day Night (TDN) because it delivers true color images during the day and black and white or night vision images at night. It ensures that the image colors are not disturbed and generates a true representation of colors - as seen naturally by the human eye. When the IR filter is turned off during the night or in low-light conditions, it helps IR and other forms of light to reach the CCD/CMOS sensor. The image sensor, in turn, absorbs enough light - and the camera turns to black-and-white mode, which is more sensitive to IR light. An IR-cut filter can be used in devices with bright incandescent light bulbs to prevent unwanted heating.

1. How's the IR-Cut filter work?
The IR-Cut filter is controlled by a motor or with the help of an electromagnet.It will auto switch to day mode or night mode according to the light condition.
2. Why a camera need to embedded a IR-Cut filter?
To avoid color distortion,achieve realistic colors and achieve color correction in lenses.
HDR is for High Dynamic Range, the camera support HDR, that mean you could capture a clear image even under the backlight. HDR allows an imaging system to correct for the intense back light surrounding a subject and thus enhances the ability to distinguish features and shapes on the subject
4. Why the image/video is not clear enough on my access control system?
Usually the effect of HDR will cause the quality of image good or not on that case. The value of HDR is higher, then the quality of image will be better. The high dynamic range is up to 96dB on this camera module.
5. Does the camera support OTG?
Most of our usb cameras support OTG function.
6. What certificate your products have?
